This striking antique figural carved wood bench features four finely hand-carved female / cherub-style figures in solid wood, serving as both the legs and side supports of the bench. The sculptural figures are connected by turned horizontal stretchers, enhancing both stability and decorative appeal. The seat is upholstered in a tapestry fabric with a floral motif, beautifully complementing the rich dark wood patina and emphasizing the bench’s classical elegance. The expressive faces, flowing hair, and draped garments reflect Neo-Classical influence combined with late Victorian to early Edwardian craftsmanship, dating the piece to approximately circa 1880–1910.
