Vintage Carved Ornate Wood Eagle Crest Dining Chairs Renaissance Revival, Set of 6 Chairs

Vintage Carved Ornate Wood Eagle Crest Dining Chairs Renaissance Revival, Set of 6 Chairs Striking set of heavily carved wood dining chairs featuring dramatic three-dimensional eagle crests, elaborate foliate scrollwork, and rich red velvet upholstery. Each chair is crowned with an impressive sculptural eagle with fully outstretched wings. The eagle is deeply carved with individually detailed feathers, a pronounced beak, layered plumage, and dimensional bodywork. One of the most impressive details is that the eagle carving is fully finished and carved from the back as well, allowing the sculptural craftsmanship to be appreciated from every angle. The surrounding woodwork features deeply carved scrolling foliage, floral and rocaille-inspired details, creating a highly decorative Renaissance / Baroque Revival appearance. The carving continues throughout the chair frames, including the crest, sides, lower apron, and legs. The deep red velvet upholstery provides a beautiful contrast against the warm carved wood finish and enhances the dramatic, regal character of the set. These chairs would make exceptional statement pieces for a formal dining room, library, grand entry, boutique, restaurant, historic-inspired interior, or luxury design project.
